Camping Coffee Pot Saves the Day!
Several years ago, me and my wife were working in charter school which operate from the usual 8 to 5 and we have to be there half an hour before and after. Spending 10-hour on your job is more than enough to make it less exciting and stressful while adding hefty take-home assignments, obstinate teens as well as administrator politics. I probably have been dealing with ulcer this time if I am not prepared with my camping coffee pot.
This is also the same reason why when I was laid off, I felt to celebrate the freedom I have than having to mourn on the loss of job. The truth is, my wife followed my footsteps several months later and turned her resignation letter. We realized how big of our lives that have been sapped away once we’re free from this cruel act of a 50-hour work week. There were people and close friends who we had not spent time with for years, despite knowing that we’re just on the same part of town.
We’ve come to a decision to put up a business of our own which has given us time and freedom to do whatever we want from spending time with family and friends, have our vacation, enjoy the great outdoors with our camping coffee pot and many more. From this very moment, that’s when we began to brainstorm for new business ideas.
The difference between working for yourself and for someone else is that, you have to work twice as hard. This is true particularly when you are just starting out. On the first couple of months of doing the business, our workload extends to 12-hours a day and sometimes, it stretch more than that. Fortunately, we had our ever reliable camping coffee pot to give us an energy boost on times our body is almost giving up. If we are not working at the shop, you will see us working in our laptops and trying to reach out to vendors, make class schedule and also, spread the word out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media sites.
Not before long, we realized that we’d gone 3 years almost without taking a vacation. Back then, we used to take road trips every year but these days, we consider ourselves lucky to drive a couple of hours to visit our family. Once, we’re avid campers that are equipped with advanced camp stoves and camping coffee pot. On our available time, work seems to haunt us; a consequence of not putting up boundaries between work and personal time. So, while using our camping coffee pot we have decided to take actions of it.
